For a simple summer salad, grill vegetables of your choice and serve with a hearty grain, such as quinoa or farro. This version, created by editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport, goes great with a vinaigrette created by his wife, Simone Shubuck. Get the recipe here.

Hello,I just made this and much enjoyed. All you recipes are spot on. I will decrease the amount of maple syrup next time.( with the banana was too sweet. I love to use melted chocolate in recipes. How much do you think I should use instead of cacao powder.
From one avocado fiend to another, these avo boats look fantastic, Dana! The timing of this post is funny to me because just last night my boyfriend and I were eating plain avocados with a spoon, and commenting about how weird we are in general for doing so. However, after seeing this recipe, we will definitely be upping our avo game next time ;)
Toast your bread, add sliced Swiss cheese and ham on top, melt in toaster, add avacado recipe above but I like mine a bit chunky. Great stuff and a filling meal!! You can also use other meats and cheeses, whatever your preference.
Thank you for reminding me that the most simple recipes are the best! Made mine on Italian toast with garlic salt from a local garlic farm, thin tomato slices, and light sprinkle of feta. Will have again for lunch!
Planning to make your Avocado toast for my visiting healthy eating son and his vegetarian girlfriend! Going to add the egg, over medium, tomato, fresh basil and quick picked red onion! Thanks for the recipe and tips!
Got a craving and saw your recipe. Then saw comments. Sitting here trying to figure out which topping combo I want now. Trying to figure out if we can put onion, salsa egg, garlic, lemon, cream cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, salt, pepper, basil all at one time because it all sounds good lol
Avocado toast is a must-have meal in my home. It truly exemplifies the idea that the kitchen is the hearth of the home. I love to live, laugh, and love my way into devouring this avocado toast in my home-hearth. My children state, mouths agape as I unhinge my jaw to swallow an entire bread loaf sized portion of avocado toast in one, mouth soddening gulp. Thanks for this recipe, it shall sustain this family for generations.

A good bowl has certain necessary components: something crunchy, something creamy, something sweet, something salty, and a darn good sauce to pull it all together. Avocado is my go-to choice for the creamy category. Try any of these recipes for lunch or dinner:

This recipe is delicious. It is now my go to tuna salad recipe. Lite yet filling the ingredients are so refreshing and complimentary. My only addition was grape tomato which added color and even more flavor. Love love love this recipe.
Just gave this to the kids and they loved it. The recipe is wonderful as is. I made it with canned albacore, but as I was plating it for the kids, I realized that a pound of cooked shrimp could be substituted for the can tuna, and I bet that would be delicious.
You really need your own show as you are fun to watch and recipes are so great! I used this as an appetizer and used oregano instead of cilantro and served with Tostiots Scoops. My family loved it and so did I. You are the best!!
This is a perfect and delicious recipe! I love all of your recipes. I also did a version where I mixed a teaspoon of minced jalapeño and zested some lemon into the dressing. It added a nice kick. But yours by itself is perfect as it is ?
Soooo good! I made half the recipe and ate the whole thing for lunch today. The canned tuna I had was in water, not oil, so I added a little bit more of the olive oil. And I used extra light olive oil, since I love its delicate flavor. Thank you for the recipe!
This was a great recipe! My first time using avocados, ever. I used a little extra lemon juice and a Smoked Chili Sea Salt for increased flavor. My picture looks as good as the chefs :).I will make again!
Hi! Thank you for this great recipe! I made this several times for our summer get togethers and everyone really enjoyed this salad, and made it recently because winter is already feeling too long and I needed something fresh, and it was wonderful! Thank you again! 2ff7e9595c
